Agency: Hello Creative (for a B Corp Charity)
Role: Motion Design, Audio Post-Production & Editing
The Brief:
The My Acts of Kindness Schools Program is a national initiative co-designed with educators and wellbeing experts to turn kindness into a daily habit. Launched on World Kindness Day, the brief was to create a series of animated videos that combined storytelling and behavioural science to help students lead with empathy. Working 100% remotely, I was tasked with taking the agency’s "joyful colours" and character designs and giving them a "soul" through motion—all while managing a lean production budget and timeline.
The Solution
I began by adapting the agency’s static vector illustrations into motion-ready assets, ensuring the integrity of the original "joyful" brand style was maintained while prepping them for animation in After Effects. To maximise the budget, I developed a modular system of unique looping animations for each character. This allowed them to feel active and present on screen throughout the narrative without the need for unique animation scene-to-scene.
A key challenge was the audio post-production; I balanced a professional studio narrator with student voices recorded on mobile phones. By carefully cleaning and levelling these sources, I created a cohesive audio landscape that felt both professional and authentic to the school environment.

Additional Video Assets
The program was also presented on Sunrise on Channel Seven and required animated assets to run in the background. The below was created to bring the brand to life in the background.
The Outcome
The resulting videos became a core pillar of the national program launch, helping translate complex emotional literacy into "delightful" content that children across the country could connect with. The project proved that a thoughtful approach to adapting static assets into character-driven motion can support a larger movement for social good, even with production and budgetary constraints.
